Questions
Good to know
Is this an app from the App Store?
No. It's a web app: you open a link and add it to your home screen, and it works like an app with its own icon. Nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes, on iPhones and Android phones with an up-to-date browser (Safari or Chrome). It also opens on tablets and computers.
Where is my information kept?
Only on your phone. There's no account and nothing is stored on our servers. You can save a backup file at any time and restore it on a new phone.
Do I need an internet connection?
You need a connection to open the app. Your information is saved on your phone either way.
My dog is a Shih Tzu mix, or an adult. Will it fit?
Yes. Pick Shih-poo, Malshi, Zuchon or "other mix" during setup, and choose "An adopted dog" for adults. If you've had your dog a while, there's a catch-up plan.
Can I use it for two dogs?
The app follows one dog per phone. If you have another dog at home, setup asks about other pets and adds a checklist for living together.
Is this veterinary advice?
No. It's general education for owners. Your veterinarian is always the final word on your dog's health, food and medicines.
Can I print things?
Yes. Checklists, the weekly plan, emergency cards, first aid steps, a vet visit summary, groomer notes and the memory book can all be printed or saved as a PDF.
